a. Assist in the creation of prototypes and conduct testing to validate design concepts
b. Analyze test data and collaborate with the engineering team to refine designs based on test results
c. Provide technical support during prototype manufacturing and assembly
4. Documentation and Reporting: -
a. Maintain comprehensive documentation of CAD designs, simulations, and test results
b. Prepare clear and concise reports and presentations to communicate findings to project stakeholders
c. Develop and maintain simulation standards, procedures, and best practices
d. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on simulation methodologies
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
2+ years of experience in automotive simulation and analysis
Hands on experience in CAD design and simulation in automotive field, with proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, CATIA, Ansys Fluent, SolidWorks, Simulia, Hypermesh etc.
Should be able to build finite element assemblies for vehicle structure, apply loads and boundary conditions, estimate fatigue life for components, systems and welds, have good fundamentals of Strength of Materials, and FEM.
Should be able to prepare CFD geometry independently and have strong understanding of heat transfer, aerodynamics and fluid dynamics.
Knowledge of relevant engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.

About the Company
Arbor Mobility is a 2W EV start-up based out of Bengaluru, India. We at Arbor Mobility are developing a performance two-wheeler EV motorcycle. The three Co-Founders have done their Masters in Automotive Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA, and have worked for various Automotive companies in India and the USA and are now determined to create something exciting in the EV space. The company was started in November, 2022 and is now rapidly expanding. We, at Arbor Mobility are trying to answer the basic question of how to increase the adoption of EVs in India. EV usage is a paradigm shift in consumer behaviour. It requires us to think how to tackle the issues such as charging, range anxiety & safety for a consumer. We at Arbor Mobility think it is essential to make it easy for the customers to switch to EVs. Hence, we have taken an innovative customer centric approach for our product development. This provides an exciting opportunity for anyone who want to join the efforts to build the future of automotive industry in India & the world.
