About the Role
Our electric vehicles stream telemetry to the cloud, where it powers a dashboard, engineering analytics, and remote operations. We are looking for a Full Stack Developer who can build across the whole stack — front-end dashboards, back-end services, and the cloud architecture that connects our vehicles to the cloud — with a strong, security-first mindset for a connected-vehicle product.
You will own significant parts of the telemetry and dashboard platform end to end, and help ensure the device-to-cloud pipeline is scalable, observable, and secure. We care about strong engineering fundamentals and the ability to pick the right tool for the problem — specific languages, frameworks, and cloud providers are secondary to solid architecture and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain the fleet/telemetry dashboard(modern front-end framework) and back-end services / APIs, including real-time data streaming.
Design and evolve the cloud architecture— compute, storage, managed messaging/IoT, and time-series data — on a major cloud platform.
Own the device-to-cloud data pipeline — telemetry ingestion (e.g. MQTT or equivalent), processing, and time-series storage.
Apply security across the stack: secure coding (OWASP Top 10), device authentication with certificates and mutual TLS, PKI/certificate lifecycle, authentication/authorization, and secrets management.
Define and provision infrastructure as code and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
Own test automation — unit, integration, and end-to-end tests — and build quality into the delivery pipeline.
Set up monitoring, logging, and observability for the platform.
Collaborate with the firmware team on device connectivity, provisioning, and secure OTA.
Outcomes You Own
Deliver reliable, real-time telemetry from device to dashboard at fleet scale.
Harden the device-to-cloud path (certificates, authorization, secrets) with no critical security gaps.
Codify infrastructure and CI/CD so the platform is reproducible and observable.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
B.E./B.Tech/M.C.A. in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
3–6 years building full-stack web applications, with strong command of at least one modern front-end framework and one back-end language/runtime.
Solid database fundamentals — relational schema design, plus comfort with the data model that fits the workload (relational, time-series, document, etc.).
Hands-on experience architecting and operating on a major cloud platform (any of AWS, Azure, or GCP), including infrastructure-as-code.
Working knowledge of application & cloud security: OWASP Top 10, TLS/PKI, authentication/authorization, and secrets handling.
Version control, CI/CD, and automated-testing discipline.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
IoT experience — device-to-cloud messaging, managed IoT services, and device certificate/fleet provisioning.
Handling time-series / high-volume telemetry data at scale, and building operational dashboards.
Containerization and orchestration.
Familiarity with modern end-to-end and unit test frameworks.
Security depth — threat modeling, pen-test familiarity, or a recognized security certification.
Exposure to connected-vehicle / automotive cybersecurity concepts (e.g. ISO/SAE 21434).
About the Company
Arbor Mobility is a 2W EV start-up based out of Bengaluru, India. We at Arbor Mobility are developing a performance two-wheeler EV motorcycle. The three Co-Founders have done their Masters in Automotive Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA, and have worked for various Automotive companies in India and the USA and are now determined to create something exciting in the EV space. The company was started in November, 2022 and is now rapidly expanding. We, at Arbor Mobility are trying to answer the basic question of how to increase the adoption of EVs in India. EV usage is a paradigm shift in consumer behaviour. It requires us to think how to tackle the issues such as charging, range anxiety & safety for a consumer. We at Arbor Mobility think it is essential to make it easy for the customers to switch to EVs. Hence, we have taken an innovative customer centric approach for our product development.
